Research Works
The Quality of Life in Older People and Their Perceptions Towards Caregiver’s Commitments: Role of Autobiographical Events
This is my M.S. thesis work, and it has shaped me into an independent researcher. My supervisor has been instrumental in guiding me through this research, especially in preparing the research questionnaire. Here, I have primarily used a mixed method approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods. I have conducted multiple hierarchical regression and mediation analyses for statistical analysis. In this paper, our main focus is to investigate whether older people’s perception of caregivers’ commitments and their autobiographical memory specificity influence their quality of life.

Development and Psychometric Evaluation of the Classroom Mindful Attention Regulation Scale (CMARS) for Young Adults
The main focus of the research is to develop and validate the Classroom Mindful Attention Regulation Scale (CMARS) to effectively assess and enhance mindful attention regulation among students in classroom settings. My responsibilities included literature review, data analysis, and manuscript writing.
The manuscript is submitted for journal publication, offering a valuable tool for educators and researchers interested in mindfulness and attention regulation.
Motivated Rule Violations in Learning Schedules and Cognitive-Emotion Regulation of University Students
The research investigated the effects of cognitive emotion regulation strategies employed by university students on motivated rule violations in learning schedules, with a focus on identifying the impact of positive and negative focused emotion regulation strategies on academic performance. Here my role was assisting my lab mate to prepare the report and writing the final manuscript for journal submission.

Effects of Malignant Personality Traits on Online Deception and Intimacy in Romantic Relationships: Role of the Perception of Guilt
The present study tried to explore the effects of malignant personality traits on online deception and intimacy, as well as the possible role of the perception of guilt in reducing deceptive behaviors in romantic relationships among young adults in Bangladesh. This study develops and validate scales to assess smoking susceptibility and awareness among adolescents in Bangladesh, while examining factors influencing susceptibility and the mediating role of school connectedness. During my involvement with the EWS Project at The Asia Foundation in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, I served as a community peacekeeper, focusing on conflicts related to religious beliefs. This role provided invaluable insights into people’s perspectives on religious beliefs, deepening my understanding of religious conflicts. Additionally, participation in focused group discussions and peace-building dialogues further enriched my experience. Notably, our efforts contributed to maintaining religious harmony in the local area, showcasing the project’s success. As a researcher and psychologist as well these techniques are invaluable in my current role and it will significantly contribute to my future endeavors in cognitive and clinical psychology research. By understanding and addressing individuals’ cognitive processes and belief systems, I can conduct more insightful and impactful research aimed at improving mental health outcomes. This training provides a strong foundation for developing innovative interventions and therapies that target specific cognitive and emotional mechanisms, ultimately advancing our understanding of human behavior and enhancing clinical practice.

I have completed a two-month training program centred on using Statistical Packages to enhance Psychological Research and Data Analysis. This program focused on applying statistical tools to address research questions, analyze data, and interpret findings effectively. Through hands-on sessions and theoretical learning, I gained practical skills and became proficient in various statistical techniques crucial for conducting rigorous psychological research.
