Position: Undergraduate Lab Member (male)
Research Focus: Cognitive Psychology

Shahrier CCPSY Lab is now recruiting passionate and motivated undergraduate students to join our research team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Cognitive Psychology research.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be undergraduate students of Psychology at the University of Rajshahi.
  • Must have successfully passed the 1st year, 1st semester of your undergraduate program with minimum CGPA 3.25

What We Expect from You:

  • A commitment to working hard throughout the duration of your undergraduate studies.
  • A daily investment of at least three hours focused on learning Cognitive Psychology, including modules, mock tasks, book study, and online research.
  • Active participation in various stages of research projects, including writing, literature review, data collection, and providing insights and ideas.
  • Support in maintaining and improving the lab, including lab fees, running errands, supervising tasks, and collaborating with other members.

For Undergraduate Students:

They can apply for the membership of the CCPSY Research Group by sending email ([email protected]) to the mentor at any time of the year. A full CV of the applicant is mandatory to submit with the application email. Except that, two times (June & October) of the year mentor will invite applications from the eligible candidates with necessary guidelines for the entrance exam.

For MS Students:

At or before the beginning of the semester, graduate/MS students should contact with the Research Group Mentor to be enrolled as a thesis student and CCPSY group member. While contacting with the mentor, students must have to submit a CV ([email protected]) with academic, co- and extra-curricular information specially focusing on research activities and achievements. After evaluating the CV of the candidate, mentor will take an entrance exam and once passed the exam, the candidate can apply to the concerned department for doing thesis work under the supervision of the mentor.

For M.Phil./PhD Students:

Those who are interested to pursue their M.Phil./PhD works with CCPSY Research Group, can contact ([email protected]) with the mentor by submitting a CV including full research profile and a research proposal (3-4 pages) of the intended reaseach work. Then, the candidate has to face the entrance exam to be qualified to work in this research group. If the candidate passes the entrance exam, he or she can apply for the intended program following the notice board of the University of Rajshahi ( https://www.ru.ac.bd/ ).
