JANNATUL FERDOUS

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT

description

Hi there! I’m Jannatul Ferdous, a passionate psychology student and aspiring researcher. I’m a dedicated
and spiritual individual who believes that perseverance is the key to success. I have an unquenchable
thirst for knowledge and always seek new experiences to broaden my perspectives.
As a young researcher, my area of interest lies in clinical, cognitive, and positive psychology. Due to
certain limitations in our country, pursuing a career as a researcher can be challenging. Therefore, my
dream is to go abroad and enroll in a well-known university to hone my skills and become a successful
researcher.
I got the chance to work under the direction of a genuinely outstanding researcher at Shahriar’s CCPSY
Lab at RU. I’m thankful for the chance to have learned from such a gifted person, and working under his
supervision is a priceless experience.
In my work, I am tackling a fascinating question about concept mapping within cognitive psychology.
Through my research, I aim to make significant strides in our understanding of this important area.
By researching the mental well-being and stress levels of both blood donors and non-donors, I aim to
shed light on the importance of blood donation. This study will help us better understand the impact of
blood donation on the overall health of donors and encourage more people to donate blood. This is my
other current work.
